MORE ABOUT ME

Hi ,
        As you all know my name is Matt , I'm 30 years old and grew up in the North of England. From there I spent 6 years in the forces and in that time did tours in Bosnia and Iraq. Obviously I had to keep fit whilst in these areas and did so by means of circuit  training and the odd weights.
I have always been into fitness and going to the gym so stuff like this I enjoyed. I also played a lot of rugby in the forces and it was another way of keeping fit as this is a variety of training. I also did the Brickwoods Field Gun which again was another kind of training. While your in the forces you could be training everyday for one thing or another so they keep you on your toes all the time.
So as you can see from my past I have kept myself fit and healthy, it went down hill once I left the forces as civvy life as we call it took a lot of my free time, things like work and family, bills etc... so I didn't do as much training as I'd like to. I still kept up the rugby and training but didn't go to a gym so only did things when I had the chance to. Whilst playing in a rugby game I damaged my knee quite badly and had to have an operation on it so I was out for around a year and found it hard to get back to full fitness. I'm still struggling to this day and have put weight on lost weight then put it on. My life is quite hectic and I can only fit my training sessions in when I have the time so thats why my weight is up and down all the time, but I have set a plan out in place where I have set times I'll be going the gym or doing a circuit in the garden so keep an eye out on my blog for the workouts and the plan.
