The Difference Between an Aloe Vera Juice and Gel Drink

I have been reading a few bad comments on the Internet regarding Aloe Vera and a Company Called Forever Living off people that don’t actually have the facts right, so I’m going to put them straight on a few things and let YOU the reader make your own decision.

Aloe Vera Benefits

Let us start by looking at the benefits of drinking Aloe Vera:

1.        Detoxifying – Crammed full of:

Amino acids             Vitamins             Minerals

makes it one of nature’s most effective cleansers. Strengthening digestion and clearing the body of any nasty waste, thus detoxifying the body naturally.
Aloes main property is to be:

Soothing                    Cooling               Moistening

helping to clear inflammatory and irritating heat, such as in menopause, plus inflammatory skin and digestive problems, such as acne, rosacea and IBS.’

2. Supports the immune system

Packed full of immune-boosting polysaccharides, which help the immune system to behave properly. Too much inflammation in the body can cause problems within the immune system and can cause conditions like:

 Asthma              Eczema               Crohn’s disease

Soothing herbs like aloe Vera juice aids slowing the inflammatory cascade and helps reorder the immune response to prevent these conditions.

3. Lowers cholesterol and blood sugar

Some evidence suggests Aloe Vera lowers cholesterol and has a positive effect on blood sugar levels, meaning it can be useful for treating diabetes and obesity.

4. Exceptional for digestion

People who suffer with digestion problems like IBS might want to give Aloe Vera Drinking Gel a try as its healing and soothing properties can benefit them against the painful symptoms. Click on the article link below of a study done in Morriston Hospital back in 2002.

5. Easy way to boost your vitamin and mineral intake

Packed full with vitamins A, C, E, B1, B2, B3, B6, B12 and folic acid. Rich in minerals like calcium, magnesium, zinc, iron, selenium and potassium. Aloe Vera is an ideal drink for your body if you don’t like popping all those vitamin tablets.

6. Hair growth

Full of natural vitamins and enzymes that can directly promote healthy hair.

7. Burns, Acne and Hydrating skin

I work in the Middle East and take a tube with me, I put it on any burns, bites and use it to clean wounds (it does sting though). When it’s used topically it can soothe inflamed skin and enhance collagen and hyaluronic acid to help rejuvenate skin.

Amazing right, but I’m an honest man and am going to tell you it does come with some side effects that you should be aware of.

  • First of all, there are no negative side effects if you use a pure Aloe Vera inner leaf juice/gel.

  • However, if you use an Aloe Vera leaf product it may have high aloin levels and aloin is a laxative which can cause diarrhoea if too much is used.

Always consult your doctor before undergoing any complementary or alternative treatments for health problems.

Forever (UK) is proud to be awarded the prestigious accolade, the Investors In People Gold Award. In fact, Forever exceeded the evidence required to gain the reward to join an elite group of only 150 companies at the time to have attained this level.

In November 2010, Forever was awarded the honour of achieving IIP Champions status. Investors in People Champions are a prestigious group of role model organisations who promote Investors In People through a series of best practice-sharing activities.

So with all the evidence above and on the Web for all to see does this sound like a company that is a ‘Scam’ as people have put it? On top of this they are part of the ‘Direct Selling Association’.

I’m going to use the Aloe Vera Drinking Gel. I have highlighted this because there is a lot of talk about the cost of this product compared to others on the high street.

Forever Living Aloe Vera Gel, contains at least 85% pure Aloe gel and IS NOT a ‘juice’ like on the highstreets that contain the legal 15% required to call something a juice.

If you check the ingredients on the bottle of those products, you will see Aloe Vera juice around the middle of the list as this is not the predominant ingredient.

On Forever Living Aloe Gel Drinks list you will see that Aloe Barbadensis Juice is the FIRST ingredient meaning it is the predominant one.

So to this end to get the same benefits as 1 tub of Aloe Vera Gel drink from Forever you would have to buy 3 to 4 times as much from the high street, is it cheaper now?

It all depends on what you want to spend and what quality you want. I spent £69 on a pair of Timberland boots, but these boots have lasted me 2 years.
