Here is an article i found on the mens health website i thought might be of interest to people as a few of us struggle with this.

Perfect your posture

Correct your posture in 5 minutes flat

Sitting hunched over a keyboard for 10 hours a day doesn't just strain your soul, it trains your muscles and connective tissues to adapt to that position. So when you finally break free you're walking around like a mad scientist's assistant.

But salvation for your slump is at hand in the shape of an exercise which sounds, rather unpromisingly, like a straight-to-DVD action flick: the Prone Cobra.

How to do it: Lie face-down, arms by your sides, palms down. Contract the muscles in your glutes and lower back to raise your torso and legs off the floor. At the same time, rotate your arms back till your thumbs point toward the ceiling. Hold this position for 60 seconds, rest for 60. Do 3 sets.

Try it in the office with a couple of pens up your nose and you may even score some sick leave.
